Akarana Beach House is the perfect three bedroom beach bungalow for that summer holiday with the kids. Opposite the pathway to peaceful Orion Beach, this spacious open plan home is perfect for a couple of families looking for a quality holiday rental that is located close to shops, beaches and bike paths.

Parties and Functions

This property is surrounded by permanent residents and is located in a quiet part of town.  Guests that don’t respect the neighbours will be evicted forfeiting their full tariff and security deposit. 

If we get a complaint from a neighbour (they have instructions on what to do if they suspect a party), the police or one of our employees, and we can corroborate that claim in any way, you will lose your full security deposit.  No questions asked.

If you are planning a party or feel that your fellow guests will be a noisy group, please look elsewhere.

Internet

Most properties now have access to NBN, although we do occasionally have issues which can take some time to rectify. Where internet is advertised, we do our best to keep it online, however, please understand that problems with the internet are beyond our control.

Arrivals and Departures

Wherever possible, we will contact you the day before to offer early arrival and/or late departure.

If you don’t hear from us, we ask that you don’t arrive before 3pm on the day of your booking (where the property has been cleaned and is ready before 3pm we will let you know that you can check in early).  Departure is strictly 10am so that the cleaners have time to prepare the property for the next guests.

Standard Inclusions

We provide linen all year round. This includes sheets, pillow cases, doonas and blankets, bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, face washers and bath mats.  We will even have the beds made for you when you arrive!

The kitchen has all the pots, pans and utensils you are likely to need. There is “Spray and Wipe”, detergent, dishwashing tablets and dishcloths available as well as cleaning equipment for the BBQ. We also supply items like Gladwrap, foil, paper towels and tea towels. The pantry has all the basics (and often more!) including olive oil, salt and pepper, tea bags, coffee and sugar.

Bathrooms have shower gel, hand wash, tissues and toilet paper.

There is laundry detergent supplied for the washing machine.

Cots and highchairs are available at no extra cost.

If you find something that you would expect to have at YOUR holiday home is missing, please let us know and we will do our best to arrange it.

We had a wonderful family time during Easter weekend. Very pleasant and luminous house, at walking distance from the beach. Ideal to watch the sunrise and the sunset.

This house is perfect for a family holiday. You could even fit 2 families comfortably with a kids room of bunks and 2nd TV. It is a perfect location slightly out from the hustle of town but close enough to also walk. Beach is literally across the road and down a pedestrian path with a great walking/ bike track that connects into town, Huskisson and Hyams. Everything you need for a comfortable holiday stay - walk in and relax.

"We had a wonderful stay at Akarana Beach house last weekend. We loved everything about it - the location is close to everything like beaches, the walking path to Husskison, Vincentia shops but away from the busier end of Elizabeth Drive. The house has beautiful spacious verandahs, a large grassed area and a great outdoor dining area. Everything has been thought of for a beach holiday including picnic basket, beach toys, and towels, an outdoor shower etc and having the Nespresso machine was a bonus so we could enjoy a coffee on the balcony each morning. We also used the BBQ too which was great. There was plenty of room for 3 couples. It would also suit family group with kids. We will definitely be back again next year."

"Akarana is a beautiful beachy home. We had a lovely relaxing time staying here for 5 nights. Everything was neat and clean. There’s a walkway down to the beach pretty much directly across the road which was super nice, and from the house you can see glimpses of the ocean through the trees. The bath and cleaning products supplied are environmentally friendly, which is awesome! I would definitely recommend this house and host. :)"
