Parties and Functions

This property is surrounded by permanent residents and is located in a quiet part of town.  Guests that don’t respect the neighbours will be evicted forfeiting their full tariff and security deposit. 

If we get a complaint from a neighbour (they have instructions on what to do if they suspect a party), the police or one of our employees, and we can corroborate that claim in any way, you will lose your full security deposit.  No questions asked.

If you are planning a party or feel that your fellow guests will be a noisy group, please look elsewhere.


Most properties now have access to NBN, although we do occasionally have issues which can take some time to rectify. Where internet is advertised, we do our best to keep it online, however, please understand that problems with the internet are beyond our control.

Arrivals and Departures

Wherever possible, we will contact you the day before to offer early arrival and/or late departure.

If you don’t hear from us, we ask that you don’t arrive before 3pm on the day of your booking (where the property has been cleaned and is ready before 3pm we will let you know that you can check in early).  Departure is strictly 10am so that the cleaners have time to prepare the property for the next guests.

Standard Inclusions

We provide linen all year round. This includes sheets, pillow cases, doonas and blankets, bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, face washers and bath mats.  We will even have the beds made for you when you arrive!

The kitchen has all the pots, pans and utensils you are likely to need. There is “Spray and Wipe”, detergent, dishwashing tablets and dishcloths available as well as cleaning equipment for the BBQ. We also supply items like Gladwrap, foil, paper towels and tea towels. The pantry has all the basics (and often more!) including olive oil, salt and pepper, tea bags, coffee and sugar.

Bathrooms have shower gel, hand wash, tissues and toilet paper.

There is laundry detergent supplied for the washing machine.

Cots and highchairs are available at no extra cost.

If you find something that you would expect to have at YOUR holiday home is missing, please let us know and we will do our best to arrange it.

The Nest is a fantastic place to stay in Vincentia and has a large fully kitted out kitchen and barbecue area. A 30 second walk onto the beautiful Collingwood Beach.

Our family have travelled to a Jervis Bay for five years now and each time our booking has been very well managed, the homes we have stayed in have been exceptional and the easy access to beach and parks have been great for the grandchildren. The Nest is an exceptionally well equipped and well appointed residence providing the ultimate in comfort and convenience. The large upstairs living room, the large kitchen/dining area and connected outside BBQ/outdoor eating made our stay very enjoyable - plenty of space for the enjoyment of our two families. We are keen cooks and made good use of the beautiful kitchen. These attributes as well as the beachfront position and close access to shops provided us with a delightful holiday stay filled with many precious memories.

Customer service was fantastic. We asked for two additional baby cots and a safety gate and both were present upon arrival. A lovely spot in the heart of Collingwood Beach. Kids loved the yard and the outdoor hot showers were a hit. Loved the instant zip hot/cold water device in the kitchen too.

The Nest was a modern luxurious home with everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday, even in winter. Location was ideal with beach access and walking/cycling path right outside the back door. The attention to detail for lighting, heating, kitchen, seating were amazing. It has been two weeks since we left The Nest and I so wish we were back there in that perfect spot by the sea, with the birds singing in the trees and the calming sound of the ocean 24/7! A great house with so many features, we loved the louvred windows and seating upstairs to read or chat. A lovely fire upstairs and blankets when chilly. March was a perfect time to visit, the water was a great temperature to swim and you can walk for days along the beaches and bike path (directly out the back gate) or sit out on the verandah after whatever delicious meal have prepared in the awesome kitchen or on the barbecue Our favourite thing: THE HOT/COLD TAP. Forget boiling water. That is so last year. Tea on tap is just what the doctor ordered! We loved this house & we spent a lot of time there due to restrictions bought in during our stay. Jervis bay Rentals were great to deal with and we really appreciated our extended stay at a special price. We hope to get back one day!
